Why I Refuse to Stay Small in a World Built for Giants

A Message to Those Watching Quietly and Those Watching Closely đź‘€

This video, recorded over five months ago, was my first unfiltered statement of purpose. Despite everything thrown at us, every word still rings true. I’m bringing it back as a reminder that this mission isn’t fading—it’s growing stronger.

This week, I’m stepping away from the usual format to speak from the heart—no segments, no routine—just a moment to pause, reflect, and share where I am on this journey with all of you.

As I look at this path we’re on, I see just how essential it is to sometimes stop and say, “This is why I started.” It’s a way of checking in with myself, asking where I’m making the best impact, and reconnecting with my purpose. Because this journey, with all its highs and lows, keeps showing me the power of quiet connections.

I’ve been humbled to hear from so many who’ve reached out—many of you choosing this path with quiet courage, others watching from a distance but sharing small, meaningful moments of support. It’s a reminder that impact isn’t always seen. Even those quiet shifts we make together have a ripple effect, sparking change that I believe will one day become undeniable.

For me, this isn’t about building a name or a brand. I didn’t come into this space to fit in or play by the same rules I’ve spent years questioning. I’m here because I’m invested in a world where we put people first—a future I feel good about leaving for my kids, and for yours.

The choice to stand up for what I believe in isn’t just a profession; it’s a calling. It’s about more than cannabis or hemp; I see these as tools to help create a culture that respects transparency and wellness over profit. If this resonates with you, know that we’re making a difference, even if the impact feels subtle for now. And for those who are further along the path, I hope this reinforces your purpose, too.

I’ve had one of those grounding weeks that remind me why this work matters. It’s been filled with small but profound joys: one-on-one days with each of my kids, family dinners, a moment at the school fair where familiar faces shared a quiet thank-you. More and more, I’m realizing how much this work has to offer, not only to those I’m directly speaking to but also to those who are listening with different reasons, watching closely for change.

When a husband came up to thank me for the positive changes he’s seen in his family, or when a new friend joined me to talk about what this mission means, I felt that ripple effect growing. Change often starts small, but it’s reaching lives in meaningful ways. And while some may see this movement as something to keep tabs on, I hope it sparks reflection.

If you’ve read this far, you’re part of this movement, too. So, let’s create a better future and have some fun while doing it. Are we ready?

With gratitude and purpose,
Monica
